AEOLUS partners present at SPIE Photonics Europe 2024

The AEOLUS project has two oral presentations at the upcoming SPIE Photonics Europe. One will focus on high performance grating couplers for the mid-infrared applications based on multi-parameter optimisation of the geometrical characteristics of the gratings in Silicon platform. It will be presented by Theoni Prousalidi on Saturday, 7 April 2024 at 16:00 CET. In addition, Georgios Syriopoulos will present some MID-IR spectroscopy solutions pursued within AEOLUS and heat dissipation evaluations that these entail at the PIC level. The presentation will take place on Monday, 8 April 2024 at 17:30 CET.

You can meet members of the AEOLUS team and also from GRACED, h-ALO, PHOTONFOOD, PASSEPARTOUT and TRIAGE at booth no. 307 from 7-11 April at the exhibition and discuss further our approach, innovations and results we have so far.

ULISSES Final Webinar

We are excited to invite you to the ULISSES final webinar, taking place on 31st May. During the webinar members of the ULISSES consortium will present the remarkable achievements in 2D material integration, miniaturized gas sensing, and smart sensor calibration for the Internet of Things (IoT).

The agenda of the event includes the presentations about the fabrication of graphene devices on suspended waveguides, gas sensing with silicon photonic waveguides, and the role of gas sensors in the IoT, including smart calibration.

Following the presentations, there will be a round table discussion, providing an opportunity for interactive dialogue and exchange of ideas.

To secure your spot for this enlightening webinar, please visit the information and registration page at ULISSES – Air sensors for everyone, everywhere. (ulisses-project.eu).

Additionally, we invite you to explore the podcast series on the ULISSES topic areas, which can be accessed at https://www.ulisses-project.eu/outcomes/#out-podcast.
